If you are a fan of the Louboutin brand, you could not miss their Tape à l’oeil eyeshadows. Decadent packaging like the heels with red soles, these eyeshadows are a product that I had the opportunity to discover when they came out. However, I have used them relatively little. It was during confinement that I took the time to have a little fun with it. So I decided to share my tips for using these products with you.

3 ways to use Louboutin Tape à l’oeil eyeshadows

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I really like using cream eyeshadows – usually in stick form. This is what I find most practical to apply on a daily basis.

With Louboutin makeup, the application is completely versatile. These shadows can be used as a product for a simple look versus a more sophisticated look.

I like to use these products in three ways :

  • as a base : you apply the cream eyeshadow on the mobile eyelid and quickly you apply a powder shadow over it. This ensures a longer lasting for your makeup and even intensifies its finish.
  • as a cream eyeshadow : you apply the eyeshadow as a halo on your eyes. As I’m showing you in the video, I apply and blend with the brush to create a soft, smokey effect. Easy, fast, the perfect combination for an everyday look.
  • as a liner : this requires a little more time and precision. I use a thin eyeliner brush to do it. With pastel colors, you can totally surf the trend of the graphic liner. To have fun and try a new style !

The only constraint to keep in mind is that these shadows dry relatively quickly – it is therefore necessary to make one eye after the other to avoid ending up with a eyeshadow that you can no longer work on.

I detail these three techniques in video here.
