Finding the perfect jean, a quest not always easy – all the more so when you come in sizes 0-4. Last June, I was lucky enough to discover the Charlott’ brand in the Légeron House – a French family-owned company that supplies fabric flowers, feathers and other accessories for high-fashion houses.
Finding the perfect jean : the morphology
In the past years, I usually buy mine at Burton or 1.2.3. I am mostly satisfied but I found that all my pants yawned at the lower back. Even with a belt, I have trouble finding jeans that perfectly fit my hips and waist. In addition, making 1m78, many pants are sometimes a little short in terms of length.
Personally, I am a fan of high-waisted jeans that enhance the silhouette. I like to have hips, butt and belly well held and I find that high waist more my morphology.
Find the perfect jean : the Charlott ‘brand
The brand Charlott’ is a brand of ready-to-wear and lingerie that is discovered by home sales for twenty years.
I am a fan of jeans with a cut slightly cigarette or slim. Sometimes I wear upright shapes. It’s been a long time that I did not wear bootcut jeans but the Yeye model was really a favorite. Indeed, it is the first time that a pair of jeans perfectly fits my morphology : no tissue that gapes at the back, and a length more than necessary!
Finding the perfect jean : customizing jeans
On the occasion of the launch of new basics revisited, Véronique Gargotier, CEO of Charlott’, invited us in a secret but well-known place of haute couture houses: the house Legeron which provides flowers in fabrics and feathers in the great name of Haute Couture.
We had the chance to visit Legeron atelier, be surrounded by all these models, dyes, is a bit magical and I am grateful to be able to enjoy unique moments like this one. The Legeron house allowed us to give a more original and couture look to our Yeye jeans by customizing it with flowers and other stresses.
Of course, I went on my favorite theme : pink and blue. I love the final look of my bohemian and couture twist jeans.
