The month of December is punctuated by its many dinners and celebrations and it’s all the opportunity to wear pretty outfits! I wanted to offer you a look with a floral dress for Christmas.
Floral dress for Christmas: which style of dress?
I always wanted to have a floral dress, with a bohemian inspiration. However, finding this type of dress without falling into the hippie style is not easy! I also wanted a knee or mid-calf floral dress to keep a slender figure and play with my accessories – especially shoes!
My dream was fulfilled when I found this navy blue dress, with its floral prints – which by far are a bit magical and invite you to dream! Its cut is perfect: very well fitted on the upper body with a nice V neckline like a shirt. The black fabric belt structures the silhouette and further marks the waist for a pin-up effect that I love! I like the transparency effect in the fabrics that brings a touch of lightness and fluidity to the whole!
Floral dress for Christmas: how to wear it?
To wear and accessorize a floral dress for Christmas, it will be played in the details. The dress itself already has a strong personality so it is essential to find the right balance.
For a winter version, I pulled out my blue suede ankle boots, with their retro style, which compliments the dress. The heels give more impetus to the silhouette and allow to play more with the fluidity of the dress. With this style of dress and material, I advise you to focus on satin tights and not too thick (for example, 20 or maximum 40 deniers max) because it is important to keep the game of transparency that the dress creates.
For accessories, the light is on with a beautiful necklace OGGI. The outfit was dark, we bet on colors and materials that play the contrast. This is a double row necklace in cultured pearls with a gold clasp with a Harlequin shape – inspired by the Italian theater and some touches of trimmings. This piece brings a lot of volume and depth to the outfit. We are in glamor and festive mood with this jewel. To end with an explosion of light, we chose a golden ring with the structure “fireworks” which is like a shining star.
