Laboté is a beauty concept that wants to create custom made creams.
Laboté Paris : the concept
The founder, Lucile BATTAIL, with her background and experience in botany, dermopharmacy and galenic, has patented a whole process of cold formulation in order to propose a unique beauty experience for women and men in search of a product truly adapted to their needs.
LABOTE offers a complete beauty analysis to understand its state (hydration, skin reactivity, tissue density, nutrition, sebaceous production, microcirculation), its environment (pollution, for example), fragilities and desires.
For the moment, LABOTE offers three products: a day cream (65€), a serum (85€) and a night cream (55€).
Laboté Paris : the experience
Once the beauty diagnosis is established, a doctor in pharmacy selects precisely each ingredient to meet the specific needs of our skin. LABOTE uses natural assets registered with the pharmacopoeia, thus recognized for their therapeutic actions.
For my formula, the choice was on aloe vera, calendula and centella. Once the assets were selected, I chose the silky texture with a lightly powdered finish for the day cream.
Then come the step to fragrance of the cream. This step is optional. To perfume the cream, three options are available. I completely fell on the floral fragrance that has a touch of jasmine.
The formulas developed by LABOTE are silicone, paraben, preservative and additive free.
I loved my experience in the LABOTE store. The concept of creating your own cream, I liked : to be able to exchange with the doctors in pharmacy about the specificities of my skin, certain ingredients to promote my skin, go into the lab to see my cream to be created…A moment out time to take care of yourself and your skin.
