After my test at Raphael Perrier which, after a month left me an average opinion. Indeed, I usually have eight weeks between each visit to the hairdresser. But with the “pixie” cut on which I had doubts…They turned out as I expected. My nature of hair quickly took over and the wait became difficult. So, I decided to test another salon, always in the hope of finding my next Parisian venue.
I went to a salon that was born recently in the Marais : Les Garçons dans le Salon. The comments on Treatwell were glowing so I let myself be tempted.
The place is cute with a relaxing decoration with this typical Scandinavian touch. The location is quiet as in a small street and not on a major Parisian thoroughfare. The relaxation is at the rendez-vous.
Les garçons dans le salon : my haircolor
I wanted to stay in the same spirit, that is to say to darken my natural color and to have a little touch of fantasy. The salon uses Schwarzkopf products that I know and that are of very good quality.
As for haircare products, the salon uses the Bed Head brand that I had heard about but never tested. We are on products with great sensoriality and delicious fragrances.
Jeremy, in technique, worked a natural color, tone on tone, in order to bring more brilliance and depth to my base.
For the fun touch, instead of staying on the classic bleach, he offered me to try purple.
Les garçons dans le salon : my haircut
I especially wanted to have again a shorter neck. For the rest, I stayed on a slightly plunging short hairstyle.
It is Loïs who endorses the pair of scissors and I am happy with the result to this day. The hair are placed naturally as I like. I would see how the haircut evolves!
In conclusion…
I am pleased with this first visit to Les Garçons dans le Salon. I enjoy going to independent hairdressers which also allows me to discover new aeras of Paris!
