Camomile Cleansing Oil from The Body Shop is a product we hear a lot about in the beauty world. I decided to buy it to make my own opinion on this product.
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil : the product
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil comes from the range of the same name : Camomile. This range is identified by the presence of camomile harvest in England.
Why camomile ? It has been proven that in ancient times camomile was used for therapeutic purposes and it was probably used thousands of years ago. It has been shown that camomile is very effective at soothing sensitive skin with its anti-irritant properties. It is perfect for the skin. This wonderful flower is suitable for all skin types.
The texture of this oil is silky as its name suggests and is ultra soft with your skin – whatever your skin type. The Body Shop promises that its formula will dissolve all makeup – even waterproof.
The product comes in the form of a pump bottle – which is convenient for dosing the desired amount of oil.
Camomile Cleansing Oil is sold for 15 €.
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil : how I’m using it ?
What I usually do : I take a (big maximum, 2 pumps) oil that I warm in my hands. I apply on my face and neck.
I mass in circular movements and I insure the eyes to really “break” my makeup.
I lather with a little warm water before rinsing with a small towel sponge moistened with hot water.
Thanks to Estée for suggesting to leave the towel on the face for few seconds! This provides a real moment of relaxation and also helps opening the pores for deep cleansing.
Following this, I continue my routine routine care: clean, tone, moisturize.
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil : my review
Cleansing my skin, yes but with oil, I had never though t! Oil makeup removal is a new trend that is observed and I wanted to discover that.
After several weeks of use, I can assure you that it’s a real pleasure to massage your face with this product. The makeup literally melts and the skin is really pampered. After rinsing your face, the skin is cleansed, not greasy and happy.
Its price is relatively accessible on the market of make-up removal oils of vegetable origin.
The only low point I found him is its pump bottle that tends to leak slightly. This is a little annoying because the bottle becomes fat and makes the product untransportable.
