Valentine’s Day Makeup
This year, I wanted to bet on the timeless combination: eyeliner and red lipstick. To balance a look like this, I favor a fairly light and fresh complexion – without too much effect or color.
This makeup is ideal for the lovers’ party. Red lips are attractive, even sexy. The look is enhanced with eyeliner, applied in a cat-eye fashion. You can wear this type of makeup for a romantic dinner for two. With, I chose to wave my hair to bring movement and blur in order to transform myself into a femme fatale!
Failing to wear Louboutins, I put in the spotlight the magnificent matte lipstick of the house for this makeup.
The makeup tutorial
Before starting to apply make-up, please have a well hydrated skin and use a base and / or primer to keep your makeup longer.
In order to achieve a fresh and not too worked complexion, I chose to use a two-in-one base which allows to unify the complexion while blurring it in order to obtain a tent as smooth as possible. I complete with a little corrector at the level of dark circles and small imperfections. It will be imperative to powder in order to fix the makeup and to avoid shining too much.
Just for a touch of structure, I add a little tan in a fairly light shade and a blush in rosewood tones.
For an ultra defined look, work on your eyebrows first and fix them. As for the eyes, apply a mat nude eyeshadow to create a base on the eyelid. For the eyeliner, take your time and create the line that suits you best. Personally, I combine two products: a felt tip eyeliner and a much finer one which allows me to adjust the line with more precision. Don’t skimp with mascara. To bring even more glamor, you can add a touch of black pencil on the water line of the upper lashes and apply a powder eyeshadow to fix everything. Conversely, use a pearly pencil for the lower water line.
For glamorous lips, draw the outline with a pencil and then apply the lipstick with a brush to obtain the most precise line possible.
