Aujourd’hui, je voulais vous parler de maroquinerie. Je ne suis pas la seule femme a adorer les sacs à main. Et tant bien même que je peux acheter des modèles fantaisies, je reste très attachée aux sacs à main de qualité, en cuir notamment.
Quand j’habitais en Haute-Marne, mes collègues m’ont parlé de la maroquinerie Guené qui est une entreprise locale, en me vantant la qualité de l’enseigne.
J’y suis allée quelques mois après mon arrivée pour acheter un sac à main (pour mon anniversaire).
Vous pouvez donc acheter directement à l’atelier de fabrication où vous avez une pièce de type show room qui expose leurs modèles.
Les prix oscillent environ autour de 60€ (pour les plus petits modèles de sacs à main) à 135€ (grands modèles).
C’est une somme mais pour la qualité et l’assurance d’une fabrication française, c’est cadeau!
J’y ai été très bien accueillie et conseillée. J’ai pu prendre le temps de regarder, de tester et de prendre ma décision.
Au final, je suis ressortie avec deux sacs à main au lieu d’un…

Je pense que si j’en ai l’occasion, j’y retournerais bien!
Histoire de la maroquinerie:
En 1907, Charles Guene cree un atelier de fabrication de sacs en perles et de bijouteries fantaisie. La mode des annees folles permet a l entreprise de connaitre un essor considerable.
En 1939, Pierre-Jacques Guene succède a son père. L’entreprise se lance dans la fabrication d’articles en cuir sous la marque de ses clients.
En 1955, il signe la première licence mondiale de Maroquinerie d un couturier : c’est le début d’une longue collaboration avec les marques de luxe et c’est aussi l industrialisation de la fabrication : la première usine est implantée en Haute-Marne.
Aujourd’hui l’activité de l’entreprise est axée sur la sous-traitance pour les grandes marques de luxe.
Notre expérience de fabrication d’articles de maroquinerie de haute qualité est notre première valeur.
GX0176 – BORDEAUX Grand sac bowling
Ce sac bowling est relativement grand (étant donné ma taille, ce n’est pas particulièrement choquant). Dimension : 40 x 30 x 15
C’est un sac porté main, en cuir de bovin. Le sac se ferme par zip. Comme vous pouvez constater, vous avez une poche plate latérale et, à l’intérieur, vous avez une grand poche zipée également.
J’aime prendre ce sac à main lorsque je voyage parce que je peux mettre beaucoup de choses dedans!
J’adore cette couleur rouge foncée qui est parfaite pour la période automne/hiver (je l’utilise principalement à cette période là)!
GX0173 – Cabas (approximativement!) OR
Ce sac est un porté épaule court mais j’ai davantage à le porter dans le creux du coude. La fermeture se fait également par zip. Il a une forme plus rectangulaire. Dimension : 39 x 27 x 13.
Ce sac est en cuir de chèvre. C’est la première fois que j’achète un sac autre qu’en cuire de bovin. Le coloris est or comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos.
Vous avez une grande poche zippée sur la face avant et deux poches latérales (que je n’utilise pas).
A l’intérieur, vous avez une grande poche zippée sur la face arrière et sur la face avant, un compartiment de grande taille sur lequel vous avez 3 autres compartiments plus petits (type taille d’un téléphone).
Ce sac à main est celui dont je me sers actuellement.

Today I wanted to talk about leather. I’m not the only handbags lover. And as much as I can buy some in clothing shops (fake leather, etc.), I am very attached to high quality handbages.
When I lived in Haute-Marne, my colleagues told me about GUENE leather which is a local company, known by the quality of their work.
I went a few months Later to buy a handbag (for my birthday).
Indeed, you can buy directly from the atelier where you have a show room exposing their models.
Prices range are between 60 € (for smaller models handbags) to 135 € (large models).
This is a budget but for the quality and the assurance of a French production is (to me) an absolute bargain!
I have been very well welcomed and advised. I could take the time to look, test and make my decision.
In the end, I ended up with two handbags instead of a one…

I think if I get the chance, I would purchase again from the atelier!
History of the atelier:
In 1907, Charles Guene created a workshop for the manufacturing of pearl handbags and fancy jewelleries. The fashion of the 1930’s enabled the company to expand significantly.
In 1939, Pierre-Jacques Guene succeded his father. The company then started manufacturing leathergoods under the trademark of his clients.
In 1955, the company signed the first worldwide leathergoods license of a couturier : it became the starting point of a long cooperation with luxury brands. It was also the industrialisation of the manufacturing with the setting up of the first factory in Haute-Marne (Eastern France).
Today the activity of the company is to subcontract the manufacturing for High quality brands products.
Our manufacturing experience high end quality leathergoods manufacturing is our first asset.
GX0176 – Large bowling handbag
This bowling handbag is relatively large (given my size, it is not particularly shocking). Dimension: 40 x 30 x 15
It is hand worn handbag, leather cattle. The bag closes with zipper. As you can see, you have a flat side pocket, inside, you have also a large zipped pocket.
I like to take this bag when I’m travelling because I can fit many things in it!
I love this dark red color that is perfect for autumn/winter (I use it mainly to this period of the year)!
GX0173 – Golden (kinda) tote bag
This bag is a short shoulder worn but I have more to wear in the crook of the elbow. It’s also a zipper to close the bag. It has a rectangular shape. Dimension: 39 x 27 x 13.
This bag is goat leather. This is the first time I buy this kind of material. The color is gold as you can see from the pictures.
You have a large zipped pocket on the front and two side pockets (which I do not use).
Inside, you have a large zipped pocket on the back and in the front, a large compartment where you have 3 other smaller compartments (type size of a phone).
This handbag is the one I am currently using.
